The Joyful Wanderer

How to bring out my solipsistic discourse? How to open up to others? This work consists of a workshop, a performance and a series of objects produced and used during these two events. The objects are: "Dawdler Drawing", made by the artist; "Drawing-Imprint", all the participants’ fingerprints, dirty with colour; "Bundles-Sponges", 24 sponges soaked in colour, hung with a nylon thread to a cane; "Traces of a walk", 72 Plexiglas boxes filled with colour; "Residues", a glass pitcher containing residual colours. How to cut through the space with colour? How to go into the city with colour? How to take colour out? Each participant in the workshop took their own sponge, their own colour with them when going for a walk with the group, carrying it on their shoulder as if it were a bundle. The workshop and performance are documented with videos and photos. The project is accompanied by a text by the artist.
