Work description and interpretation
From 20 September 2018 to 11 June 2019, the work “The Substitute: the itinerant studio” was installed in the ticket office at the GAM in Turin. During that period, while working on the “Diari tra diari” project I was in Turin at least once a month. I spent my time going to that space each time I was in that city and always leaving a trace of my presence through a new layer of colour. This video shows the work as it changes over time.
