Series Description
This series of works is the elaboration in the form of panels of some paragraphs taken from the ‘Self-Portrait’ part of the site. They appear as large archive sheets which look like pages from a diary, photo albums of family and friends, scientific tables. They show the back, what is behind the work, considering it as an integral part of the work itself. The ‘Self-Portrait’ part is a self-representation of the artist and a reasoning about her process through words and images, a rumination on the practice and on what becomes clear in front of your eyes in the form of a work. It is also the representation of the relationship the artist has with the world, with things, with reality, with life. Not all of the paragraphs are chosen to become panels but have been selected because they are more explicit and closer to this point of view.
