"When Chiara Bertola asked me to conceive a project for the Fondazione Querini Stampalia, I began thinking about how to approach such a specific work, linked to such a specific place, without abandoning my pictorial process.

It was important for me to use my painting style, whilst taking advantage of this experience to develop and change.

The Querini had to enter inside of me and respect my methods and I had to place myself in relation to the Querini to give a meaning to my work.
