Work description and interpretation
Photo sequence. Lengt 01:57 min. Venice, September 15th 2006 - December 13th 2007 While working on the project for Querini Stampalia Foundation between September 2006 and December 2007, I mounted a camera on a triapod and placed it in a corner of the studio. I shot one photo approx. every 10 days from the same position. I framed the painting I was producing for Querini at the center, and on both sides other canvases, I was also working on in that same period. These shots were later edited in a slideshow, documenting the color overlaps in my work within a period of time, showing the birth and transformation of the paintings, and the life of the objects in my studio...
