In this artist’s book; Maria Morganti describes the process of her painting From the bowl to the archive, through images, and texts, as something bodily and almost physiological, positioning herself not as creator, but as “colour pourer”. The philosopher Jean-luc Nancy rhythmically reacts to the images, evoking words that lead to a physical experience of colour as substance in the world.
