The passion according to G.H.

Work description and interpretation
This work consists of two book covers printed to the size of a human being, more or less. The photographic prints have captions next to them with a dedication, which I consider an integral part of the work. The Passion According to G.H. is a book by Clarice Lispector written in Portuguese in 1964. The text of the Italian second edition was translated by Adelina Aletti and published by Feltrinelli in 1991. The cover shows the Portrait of Helena Bialyncka-Bomla painted in 1928 by Stanilslaw Ignacy Witkiewicz. The enlarged covers here are the copy owned by my mother and the one she gave to me with a dedication.
