Stamps

Work description and interpretation
This set of fifteen stamps is preserved inside a base that has the shape and dimensions on a 1:10 scale of the plan of the ‘Gestureplace’.
The stamps consist of five drawings in three different sizes: small, medium and large.
Each stamps is the reproduction in relief of one of my drawings done by hand with graphite on paper.
The handles are 3D reproductions of the outline of my body with the bowl in my hand.

I envisaged drawing the ‘Bowl’ in relation to the acute angle of the ‘Gestureplace’, the point where I see the colour being generated every day.
It was drawn as though seen from different distances. It is small in a wide angle when seen from afar and large in a small triangle when seen from up close. It is like the pulsating gaze which gets closer and then further away from the object in question.
This symbol was created to represent a total summation of my universe and to make it move, leaving its context and reaching out into the world.
The drawing under the feet of the Maria-handle emphasizes that the position of the body is stamped in the space, leaving a trace of its presence.

Apparatuses
I decide to use all of those elements usually considered as equipment, tools, systems which transmit the work, such as the caption, the site, the archive etc., as an integral part of my work. It is almost as though I were going to define a sort of ecosystem, a world that is capable of defining itself.
