PAINTING 1. THE JACOPO PALMA IL GIOVANE ROOM

First layer: brown. Spread over all the paintings. Perhaps it’s a generalised patina that has somewhat homologised all the colours over time. It is what they share and what holds them together. It is has stood still in the passing of time. It is what time has flattened. Generalised colour. Base colour. Deep. From dark to light.
