I envisaged the published colophon as the place where I could express some crucial concepts that help to delve into the meaning of my work.
I ask, on a case-by-case basis, that the following points are published in books and exhibition handouts or on the introductive walls of exhibitions:
 
a list of photographers and video makers who have interpreted my work through their lens.
 
the archive caption which states that what we are looking at is the fragment of everything that is recomposed in the archive:
Every work exhibited in this show is both an independent and accomplished work in itself and is part of the artist’s work-archive ‘An archive of time’ www.mariamorganti.it’
 
a list of all the people who have contributed to the works exhibited or published in some way, to indicate that the body of an artist’s work is not produced by one individual but is the result of relationships and interconnections with others.
 
The part that concerns the archive with the statement by the committee members and the list of all the people who participate – or have participated – to express the importance of this organism that is made up of various people.
The members of the Committee, formed in 2023, declare themselves to be witnesses and actors in the life of the Work-Archive, which they recognise as the creative universe of the artist. At the same time, they are guarantors of its legal foundation and interpreters of the space of thought and ambiguity between these two dimensions.
