Altered

These are works whose original form has changed without the artist wanting them to. Works which have been transformed by external agents such as, for example, someone else’s intervention, an involuntary accident, a natural accident.
The date refers to the moment in which the work was created.

In order to talk about this condition, I would like to write about what occasionally happens in my ‘Sedimentations’, which in order to accommodate the Bowl’s progress, follow the forming of the colour inside it, rather than staying within the decent norms of oil-painting techniques. Consequently, every now and then a detachment of paint forms, which in my opinion adds to and strengthens the sense of the continuous stratification, and which instead of hiding, reveals in that small point something more.
